The boys finally wore me down.
Amidst the parade of movers bringing items into our new house Friday, Ryan the Cable Guy arrived to do his thing. I should point out for anyone that isn't a regular here that we haven't had cable tv in our house in years.
Yes, years.
Internet but not cable TV.
Ryan manages to work his magic and install wiring in the upstairs bedroom that doesn't have a jack, without drilling a hole through the outside of the house. Apparently THAT is a big no-no if you're an electrician, and the BF is. Holes in the house are sloppy and forbidden and only amateurs do it.
Ryan clearly knew his stuff, because an hour later the house phone (that's a story for another post), the cable and the internet are all connected.
I have to admit it was nice over the weekend to flip on the TV and channel surf a little. Even if I had no idea what was on.
That being said, today is Thursday. We've had working cable for 6 days.
Today the BF will be stopping by the local Charter Cable Office.
Why?
Why you ask.
The dog ate the remote to the cable box last night.

Haha!
I've had cable forever, but I always end up sticking o the same few channels. Oh, and I never order any premium channels like HBO because I'm too cheap.
Dogs!! they are worse than kids!
i don't have cable, but we get a few stations, like the local ones. I want to watch it all the time, but I have no idea what to watch
Ugh. Well, of course the dog ate the remote. Of course he did. LOL
That better be a big dog.
If you point him at the cable box and poke him, do the channels change?
p.s. I bet this won't be the first time the cable company has been told THAT story.
